As the kids would say, you rock!

S. Greenberg

Apr 28, 2008:

Brendan,

It was great seeing you again. I really meant it when I said you were the best piano teacher I ever had. You opened up a whole new side of music theory for me and for the first time I understood what "in the key of" meant and the difference between scales. I still don't practice enough but I am forever grateful to you for your very straight forward way of teaching and the insight you gave me into music.

Hope you have a great holiday and our paths cross again sometime!

Best regards,

Jane T.

Dear Brendan,

By the way, you've assigned Emily such wonderful pieces to play.  She enjoys them so much that she's playing all the time, to any audience she can muster.  Maybe if my guitar teacher had given me those pieces to play, I never would have quit.

Beth

Brendan,

Thanks. Aaron says his lesson with you is the best part of his week. He's been working constantly to add complexity to his compositions and create new ones. He's writing lyrics and singing too. Your a terrific influence on him.

Brendan,

Allie is really enjoying piano this year. Some weeks she devotes more time to it than others, but it makes me happy to see her play for fun without being prodded.

Debbie

Brendan,
I'm  sitting here listening to Matt play guitar and sensing how much pleasure he gets from it, and realized I have never thanked you for the lessons.  You gave him the confidence to stick with it and helped him build some competency.   We don't see anytime for lessons this semester so he's just playing for fun on his own.  I hope someday we'll be back to you for more. Thanks for launching Matt into a lifelong hobby.

By the way, Emily came home thrilled from her lesson!  Thanks a bunch!

Dear Brendan,

Thank you - for your invaluable assistance in preparing Ross audition video!

Robin

Aaron has been playing around with the suggestions you gave him for one of his songs. He came up with something that sounds much richer than it did originally. He told me, "Brendan is a genius!" Not a bad response after a few lessons.

Thanks,

Barbara

Brendan,

Thanks so much for a great year. The CD was fabulous. Jeremy was very proud of it.

Thanks,

Beverly

Dear Brendan,

How sweet of you to teach Emily "Happy Birthday."  She surprised me with a serenade of it yesterday.  Thanks!

Beth

Rachel said she had a great lesson and was very happy playing spongebob for me.  It is true.  Janet

Brendan-
Robbie is off to camp.  The CD he made with you sounded great.  I wanted to thank you for taking Rob to a higher level in guitar than I ever imagined.  Next year we will arrange for Allie to have weekly lessons with you..... Thanks again for all your help.
Jimmy

As we drove back from the airport, Aaron played his latest version of "Airport" for me. It's amazing! You've really inspired him.
